nCage Therapeutics and Ryvu have agreed to a research collaboration

nCage Therapeutics and Ryvu have agreed to a research collaboration to develop a next-generation antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) platform.

nCage has developed a TRAP-cage platform in which the protein cages are synthetic virus-like particles (VLPs). They can display biological material on their surface, or transport molecules such as nucleic acids or proteins into the interior of a target cell.

This collaboration focuses on the latter, where the TRAP-cage can be used as a novel drug delivery system that could improve the efficacy and safety of current ADCs.
