# nCage Therapeutics

> nCage Therapeutics builds TRAP-cages: synthetic virus-like particles that display antigens on their surface and open on command to release cargo inside the cell.

nCage Therapeutics is a biotechnology company established in 2019, based in
Kraków, Poland, with operations at NETPark in the United Kingdom. Its
TRAP-cage platform builds synthetic virus-like particles from rings of the
bacterial TRAP protein, held together by gold(I) ions. The cages carry no
genetic material, display antigens on their surface, and — uniquely — open
on command inside the cell to release cargo loaded in their interior.
